She may have gotten away once…but Elliot Spencer is determined not to let it happen again. He has Meg Pennington just where he wants her on a boat speeding down the Colorado River, in the aftermath of the deadly explosions that rocked the Oasis casino.

But could sisterly love be the antidote to his carefully planned abduction—yet again? There’s Amanda, a second-year FBI agent, and Rachael, a hardened Bullhead City detective. Both are relentless in their pursuit of the dastardly serial killer, and willing to put their lives on the line to ensure Meg’s well-being.

Just when it seems like he’s a step ahead of the Bullhead City sisters, a turncoat emerges among his ranks—one with the power to throw a wrench in his nefarious plans once and for all. There can only be one winner in this cat-and-mouse game, but with a newly wounded Elliot thirsty for vengeance, can the Pennington family finally bring the killer to justice while remaining unscathed?

A fast-paced thriller filled with high-stakes pursuits, international intrigue, and plenty of mystery, Deadly Aftermath delights as a stand-alone novel of its own, as it picks up the story from author Nancy Churchill’s The 7th Victim.

Deadly Aftermath Nancy Churchill Books Reviews

Wonderful series, I love the characters and the stories in this book, The 7th Victim and Deliberate Lie.
I have really enjoyed reading Nancy's books (2). I am hoping there is another one coming out soon.
Good sequel to the first book. I really enjoyed this book along with the first one. Interesting set of characters. I strongly recommend both.
I enjoyed reading two books by this Author. I will be letting my friends and family know about her. It's hard at times to find books
I enjoy. I don't like reading books that are full of filthy language or
sex scenes. This Author knows how to tell a story that keeps you on
the edge of your seat without all the dirty stuff.
For those of you who really enjoy the best in thrillers, this is a perfect book for you. It keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way.
Bravo! Ms Churchill has done it again. This time the intrepid Pennington women, whom we met for the first time in "The 7th Victim" find themselves entangled in a twisted web of lust and vengeance by the evil Eliot Spencer. In "Deadly Aftermath" I hoped and expected to find another Churchill page turner replete with suspense, plot twists and surprises. And I was not disappointed - it was all this and more. In addition to being a canny tale of compelling action, I found a keen sense of place inhabited by convincing characters living out themes of family, friendship, love and betrayal. All in all "Deadly Aftermath" is a great read.
Really liked this book. Have to read "7th Victim" first. This is the second part. The author was 80 years old when she wrote the first book and 82 for this one. Taught at Esperanza High School, Yorba LInda, CA.
I enjoyed this book and like the writing style of the author. I read it quickly as it moved right along and kept my interest. I will probably read more books by this author.
